The Lemur Conservation Foundation is grateful to Missouri Botanical Garden for conducting a seven-day intensive reforestation training and field workshop in Antanetiambo Nature Reserve. Topics included nursery design, seed germination, planting procedure, weeding, and data collection procedure after planting and in the nursery. Eleven members of LCF’s Madagascar team participated in the workshop.
Currently, LCF manages six tree nurseries around Marojejy National Park and Anjanaharibe-Sud Special Reserve. Over 25,000 trees were planted in 2019.
